Judith Beck Chardonnay is a rich, biodynamic white wine from the Burgenland region of Austria. This single-varietal bottling delivers a creamy yet mineral-driven expression, beautifully showcasing the purity of hand-harvested fruit aged on lees in old oak barrels.
About the Producer:
Weingut Judith Beck is a family-run, certified biodynamic estate located in Gols on the Wagram plateau near Lake Neusiedl. Founded by Matthias and Christine Beck in 1976 and taken over by their daughter Judith in 2004, the winery focuses on natural, terroir-driven wines using holistic viticulture techniques — from spontaneous fermentation to no irrigation and minimal intervention :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}.
Tasting Notes:
Elegant golden-yellow color. On the nose, vibrant aromas of yellow passionfruit, ripe peach, lemon balm, fresh hay, and nuances of yeast and nutmeg. The palate is medium-bodied and juicy, with yellow fruit, gentle lees richness, balanced acidity, a flinty minerality, and a touch of extraneous sweetness that makes it highly drinkable.
Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with poultry (duck, fowl), veal, shellfish (crab, lobster), creamy fish dishes, fresh salads, and mild soft cheeses.
Vol.:
12–12.5%
