Jaffa Crush (2023) is an engaging carbonic still orange wine from Mersel Vineyards in Lebanon. Crafted from organically farmed Merwah (70%) and Muscat (30%) grapes, it combines whole-berry Muscat carbonic maceration with skin-contact Merwah and aging in amphora—yielding a vibrant, textured, and naturally expressive wine that bridges ancient tradition with modern craftsmanship.
About the Producer:
Mersel is a forward-thinking Lebanese estate focused on organic, additive-free winemaking. They farm high-altitude vineyards (Merwah at 1,600 m in Dimane and Muscat at 1,200 m in Deir El Ahmar) and prioritize biodiversity, equity, and community in their practices.
