Montecristo is the best known and probably most appreciated brand of Habanos throughout the world. It forms the benchmark for many Habanos smokers against which other brands are judged. The name comes from the hero of Alexandre Dumas' famous novel 'The Count of Montecristo,' which was a firm favourite when read by the Lector to the Torcedores (cigar makers) at the factory where it was founded in 1935.

Tasting Notes
Smoking Time (Average): 35 Minutes
The Regata is constructed immaculately, hand rolled in a colorado wrapper, and finished with a perfectly finished tip. This cigar is likely the most intense of the Open range, with dark rich flavours of wood and coffee mixed with a decadent nuttyness and a touch of honey. In the second half a spicy note appeared, along with some floral notes.
