Natural wine has no uniform definition. It is a general term used to describe artisanal wine made using organically and/or biodynamically grown hand-picked grapes which are vinified with little or no intervention. Winemakers often rely on indigenous yeast to catalyse natural fermentation, avoiding the use of any chemicals, additives or sulphites.

From the wonderful yogi of natural wine, James Erskine. One of the founders of the natural wine movement in Australia, James makes wine from McLaren Vale in the Adelaide Hills. All wines are organic, unsulphured and completely natural. Skin contact Arneis blended with some direct press Chenin Blanc. Bright and linear, chewey mid palate and loads of length.
