Signatory Vintage | Very Cloudy Linkwood 2013 - The Un-Chillfiltered Collection

When first you try this version bottled by Signatory Vintage, it will be very clear to you why Linkwood is one of the best-loved Speyside distilleries: the fineness of its grain, the purity of its fruit, the elegance of its spices and the silkiness of its vanilla and chocolate notes are all utterly delightful experiences. Reduced to 40% without either chill filtering or coloring, the single malts in the Very Cloudy range have a rich, intensely aromatic character and, sometimes, a slightly cloudy appearance. They can be enjoyed at room temperature or lightly chilled to accentuate the oily texture.

Tasting Notes
Fresh and concentrated. Very slightly medicinal (camphor) and licorice, the first nose is also deliciously fruity (pear) and tenderly herbaceous and mentholated. When aired, grains of barley literally roll over the palate and accentuate the malty character of the aromatic palette.
