A single malt whiskey from Cedar Ridge in Iowa, made exclusively from 2-row pale malted barley. After ageing in a whole range of oak barrels, including wine barrels from the Cedar Ridge winery, the liquid is then finished in a solera system. It's complex and rich without being overly sweet.
Tasting Notes
Less sweet than the nose suggests, with dry notes of leather, vanilla oak and melted dark chocolate, with a hint of menthol and rich, juicy wine notes.
