When this was first released it didn’t get the attention it deserved. Consumers weren’t willing to trust Scotch solely made from grain whisky and the major geeks all had single malts on the tip of their tongues. Despite its lackluster fanfare this Scotch became a champion for Grain whisky. People fortunate to sip this will be bowled over with toffee, salted peanuts, Madagascar vanilla, sweet tobacco, creamy caramel, and warm spices. While its importance to whisky history may fade, it’s still one of the best grain whiskies you can get your hands on
Tasting Notes
A vatted grain whisky made by blending single grain whiskies from different distilleries. From Cambus, Caledonian, and Cameron Bridge aged entirely in first fill bourbon barrels. Floral, sweet and silky with an incredible mouthfeel. No chill-filtration or color added.
