The history of the 'High Wheeler' goes back several years to the Willowbank Distillery in Dunedin. Some whiskies were distilled from unmalted barley in pot stills and then blended with 70% of their single malt. This blend, of 30% grain and 70% malt, then matures for 21 years in American ex-bourbon casks.
Tasting Notes
The nose of green apples and honey followed by sour citrus balanced notes on the body and finish, but wood influence throughout.
