Kavalan | Solist - Amontillado Sherry Cask
An Amontillado-Sherry-cask matured Taiwanese single malt whisky from the King Car distillery, released as part of their Kavalan Solist range. Kavalan Amontillado Cask was rewarded World Best Single Cask and Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2016. Matured in Amontillado cask, it expresses sweet and exotics notes of dried fruits dominated by chestnut.
Tasting Notes
Rich and fruity. Almonds and walnuts notes. Slted butter caramel and toasted oak. The palate is exotic and sweet. Sherry and sweet spices notes.
