A classic fernet from Italian based Luxardo. This is made with an infusion of herbs and spices including the primaries being chichona, cardamom orange, angostura, enzian, gentian, saffron, liquorice and cinnamon. The perfect digestif.
Tasting's Notes
Intense aroma of cloves, cinnamon and bark with some dark fruit as well. There's a woodsy quality to it all. The body of the fernet is average and in addition to the aroma notes of mint and licorice comes through as well. Sweetness is there, but quickly overwhelmed by the bracing bitter bite.
