Signatory Mortlach 12 Years 2008

A non-typical Mortlach from Signatory Vintage, specially selected by and bottle for us here at The Whisky Exchange. It was distilled on 13 March 2008 and bottled on 24 November 2020 after 12 years maturing in a first-fill bourbon cask. Less meaty and weight than many whiskies from the distillery, this dram combines a buttery texture with fruit, vanilla and herbs. A moreish and tasty take on Mortlach.

Tasting Notes

Sweet and fruity, pear with vanilla, quite floral. Red fruits with brandy. Sweet notes, smoke, citrus fruits
