Douglas Laing's Old Particular | Macduff - Aged 13 Years - 2007

A sherried Macduff single malt, independently bottled up by Douglas Laing folks. It was distilled in August 2007, and bottled up in August 2020 after a finishing period in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. 500 bottles were released as part of the wonderful Old Particular range.

Tasting Notes

Fruit cake and runny toffee, alongside a spicy hint of cumin and cinnamon. On the palate maple syrup on pancakes with a few strawberries and blueberries, with a tangy hint of citrus underneath. Mint chocolate and vanilla pod on the finish.
