Intense colour with an elegant nose. Ripe black fruit, spices, tobacco, mineral. Unctuous mouthfeel with a long finish.

Terroir
Mild, calm and rather temperate climate. Its low altitude prevents late frosts on the whole which makes it mild enough for early grape harvesting

Vinification:

  • Manual harvested
  • Fermented for 15 days in stainless steel
  • Controlled ferment at 25C
  • Kept in tank for a month before being moved to French and American oak barrels (220L)
  • 8 months spent in barrel
  • 2 years in bottle before released for sale
  • Malolactic fermentation
  • Coarsely filtered
  • Fining with egg white
