Natural wine has no uniform definition. It is a general term used to describe artisanal wine made using organically and/or biodynamically grown hand-picked grapes which are vinified with little or no intervention. Winemakers often rely on indigenous yeast to catalyse natural fermentation, avoiding the use of any chemicals, additives or sulphites.
The result is wine which is alive, energetic, vibrant and unexpected – a welcomed contrast to the industrial practices of the wine industry.

Tasting Notes
The Quinta Red Blend is a field blend of 5 indigenous grapes (tavkveri, shavkapito, danakharuli, goruli mtsvane and chinuri), it undergoes 5 days skin contact before aging in Georgian Qvevri (clay pots), which are buried in the ground to naturally regulate the temperature. This wine has lovely supple tannins which bring together ripe red currants, damson berries and violets. Like the best Georgian wines, it possesses earthiness and real fruit flavors balanced by energetic acidity and those fine-grained tannins.
